The Portait made entirely of pills was created by mosaic artist Jason Mecier.
According to ‘The Daily Caller’ The portrait of the late singer took Mercier 20 hours to create with more than 1,500 pills.
He said he is a huge Houston fan, and his artwork isn’t meant to offend anyone, but that it is meant to be “sad, ironic and evocative,
As an artist you want to raise these emotions. I find these pieces more honest that disrespectful, “he said.
The Portrait reportedly costs $2,500 if you are interested.
He created a similar portrait of Michael Jackson and Amy Winehouse after they died.
